Filming and photographing lions taught me:
- They have sweat glands only on their paws.
- They can go days without eating, but not long without shade.
- A lion’s roar can be heard up to 8 km away.
- Females do most of the hunting.
- Lions get most of their water from their prey.
- They sleep up to 20 hours a day.
